Head Chef Phil Lydeard

Chef Phil heads up the Seattle Sifted kitchen. Phil completed his education in Southampton, England before moving to London and continuing his culinary journey at various Michelin-starred restaurants across the city. Phil’s love of travel and adventure brought him out to LA, where he worked as a private chef and caterer in Malibu and Beverly Hills.

Phil relocated to the Pacific Northwest after falling in love with the breathtaking natural beauty and incredible produce of the area. Seattle’s food scene provides daily inspiration and Phil loves to combine international flavors with local produce to create fresh menus that feel both new and familiar at the same time. Phil leads a diverse and experienced team of chefs in Seattle that are passionate about creating exciting lunch experiences for Sifted eaters daily.

OUR NONPROFIT FOOD DONATION PARTNERS

UGM MEN'S SHELTER

Union Gospel Mission provides comprehensive support and recovery services for homeless men throughout King County. The shelter offers emergency meals daily and offers showers, clean clothing, personal hygiene items, and overnight shelter for Seattle-area men seeking a safe place to stay.

HOPE PLACE

Hope Place is a 12 month, residential recovery program designed to help women and children caught in the cycle of abuse and addiction. The program emphasizes a skills-based and relational approach. Women at the facility come to Hope Place from drug courts, prison, the Federal Dream Program, or are found through UGM’s outreach team.

BODY OF CHRIST CHURCH

The Body of Christ Church outreach team offers meals for the homeless every week. In addition to a warm meal, the team also provides toiletries, personal hygiene items, winter clothing, and blankets for people in need within the community.
